My experience with the spares dept is not that great. Bought a few parts recently. Very hard to get through on the phone. No callbacks when messages are left. No callbacks when parts arrive. I think the staff need to be reminded that they are representating a Global Brand and not just a local dealership. I work in Customer Service for an American company and know what great Customer Service should look like. Yours is off by a long way.

As I write this review I must express how absolutely livid I am at the abhorrent service I have received at Halfway Ford Kuilsriver. I took my car into the dealership in late June and it was eventually conveyed to me in mid-July that the head gasket needs to be replaced. I approved the repairs for this job and was told that my vehicle would, at latest, be ready by the end of the week of Women's Day but alas, we are here. The job was eventually completed in the first week of September but they have now found that they need to dismantle the car again due to compression issues. To make matters worse, there is a HUGE lack of communication from the consultant assisting me. I have to constantly call, consultants are often unavailable and the receptionist never relays messages. I really wish that the service at this Ford dealership aligned with the invoice the I'm going go pay when this is all said and done but it doesn't seem like things are going to get any better. I just want this nightmare to be over and I implore all of you to find an alternative Ford dealership to cater to your needs because Halfway Ford Kuilsriver only seems to excel in the area of disappointing customers.

My ford ranger has been towed here on the 7th of july Parts arrived and was fitted and then they discovered more problems on the gearbox Today is the 3rd of august All i want now is my bakkie back so that i can sell it and buy another brand.

VERY DAB SERVICE, CALLED IN AT 09H40 TO GET A RADIO CODE WAS TOLD WAYNE IS BUSY AND WILL CALL ME BACK.... 12H30 I CALLED IN AGAIN AS STILL NO RESPONSE. HE THEN CALLS ME AS I CALLED IN AGAIN AND SAID HE IS CURRENTLY IN GOODWOOD, DO NOT EVER WAIST UR TIME CALLING THEY FEEL NOTHING FOR THERE CUSTOMERS OVER A PHONE.

Would have preferred to rate this a ZERO I changed dealerships from Goodwood to Kuilsriver because Goodwood staff had no idea what they were doing and now I have a similar situation with Ford Kuilsriver and what's worse is that their communication is absolutely appalling! My car stood at the dealership for nearly a month for a problem that had to be fixed, a week after getting my car back, the problem resurfaced. I took the car back and was told that an additional part had to be ordered which was on 21 September 2022. To date, I have called thrice to follow up and each time I get told that they will get back to me and I am still waiting I am NEVER buying Ford again. Absolutely disgusted in the service I am receiving

Halfway Ford Kuilsrivier I would hereby like to make use of the opportunity to thank Halfway Ford Kuilsrivier for their excellent service and assistance in particular, the Service Advisor Athur and the Maintenace Manager Clinton. A little bit of background for this review, I took my bakkie in for an anual service and also complained about a noise coming from the engine compartment when the enige is under load. They checked everything just to find out that the intercooler was damaged. They then requested a warranty claim from Ford which in turn Ford refused to pay. I was very disappointed as this was not my doing and before I bought the bakkie it was sent to Ford at another brance for inspection, and the only issue they found was the wipers to be replaced. I requested to speak to the Maintenance Manager Clinton regarding this damaged intercooler he then assured me that he will take this up with the relevant parties to sort out this issue. He (Mr. Clinton) then came back to me with a satisfactory solution my bakkie was fixed and I am happy to say that if it was not for Clinton I would have had endless problems trying to solve this myself. Thank you Clinton for helping me solve this issue and thanks for making time to listen and go beyond to assist. I am truly grateful for all your help and understanding. Regards Johan Lloyd

100% For actual servicing of vehicle as I could feel the difference; engine was purring, a really smooth ride! BUT: Job card reference not entered in service book. Started on vehicle @11am! Still busy on a minor service @13:10pm. Wiper blades OVER-PRICED, I decided not to replace. Experienced serious collection delay from residence back to Halfway Ford - waited 1.5Hrs and more if I had not Ubered to Halfway Ford to collect vehicle. Vehicle hand-over unprofessional: Service consultant did not know where the vehicle was parked. Vehicle handed over with steering wheel height in a different position. I was already home when the Halfway Ford driver stopped at my residence to collect me at 17:5pm! My point: The customer experience robbed you of your stars; little things matter!

When I started with ford way back in the 1990's (Ford Cortina, Ford V6 Cortina Bakkie, Ford Courier DC V6, Ford 2.2 DC, Ford 3.2 DC Auto/1lit Ford fiesta eco boost Auto , ford Figo eco boost auto and finally Ford 2l 10 speed Automatic DC/Ford Fiesta. Up until I traded my 3.2 DC for the 2L 10 speed Auto I have always Gave Ford a 5 star rating. Had endless problems with My Ranger but none the less I think for Ford to build the trust of their customers is to invest more in their workers and by this I mean better working conditions better pay and stop thinking of profits to the shareholders at the expense of cheap labour. Value their staff by offering them profit sharing bonuses and provide proper training to everybody working for them.

Would not recommend using this place at all. Still waiting on a part which my service advisor said would arrive on or about Tuesday, 03/01/2023. I've requested callbacks from the service advisor whole week without any feedback. Eventually just found the part at another Ford dealership and installed it myself. What's worse, after buying the part myself I realised how much this dealership was going to charge me to install it (labour) - something I, someone with barely any knowledge of cars, could install next to the road without tools in less than a minute. Just save yourselr the trouble and go to literally any other Ford dealership.

The service I have received at this place is shocking to say the least . And I quote . * Sir your turbo needs replacing. * Sir your turbo doesn't need replacing. * We don't know why the engine light is not switching off after the service was done . * The stop start is working and the service light has been cleared, ( this was not the case , it came back on as I was collecting my vehicle after 5 on day two. * The turbo does need replacing , we will call you in the morning. * You can drive the car in the meantime . * Asked to speak to dealer principal ( he doesn't come personally to address the matter and sends one of his staff ) who advises me that the courtesy cars and have all been allocated to other customers , " sorry we can't help you" * We can't help you seems to be the order of the day at Ford Halfway House Kuilsriver.

Poor service.They did not checked/repair my vehicles lamps as was requested with the service. Also bad experiences with their goodwood branch when one of then my lighter out the car and when they damaged the gear indicator on my gear lever. They dont quality check your vehicle after a service or repair

Vehicle issues on Ford Stormtrak 4x4 were not fixed at the first service. The same brake fluid warning came on as I left the dealership and once since then. Technical issues with engine hunting when cold not fixed, and no communications from the Kuilsriver dealership in almost a week. After having my car for a week since the service, I am very disappointed. For a car which I have only had 4.5 months, I wouldn't advise buying a Ford Ranger Stormtrak.

Ok, I take my vehicle here to have it serviced and for repairs when necessary. If you drive a Ford, it is important to keep it in good order. My vehicle had its clutch and pressure plate changed by an outside motor dealer, and a year later the screws and mountings keeping the engine and gearbox together fell apart. Certainly proper care was not exercise by making sure my vehicle would not break down in the cause of driving it. I would rather pay the brand dealer and be sure of the proper procedure is being followed in the torquing and tightening of the screws as per their specifications.

NEVER AGAIN. The first time I booked my bakkie in for a service it wasn't booked, and last week when I picked up my bakkie my bakkie was washed with a dirty sandy cloth and left scratches all around my bakkie. The people even told me they will first look at there video footage as if I will lie about the scratches. I was suppose to go back today so they could was my bakkie but how cant I take it back if I don't have any proof or believe that it would look better. And now it my baby. I will never support them again. I have ask to speak with there manger but with no luck. What would the public advice me to do?

Grant from your parts department is a legend, arguably one of the best people in any Ford parts department I've ever dealt with. Give that man a raise. He is always willing to explain in detail and considers the customer needs first.

Always gotten such good service from Ford since we bought our Figo in 2020. However this year the service was not great. We had a warranty claim at our last service and they never got back to us. Hubby went in to find out what happened and they saw on the system that the warranty was approved but the parts were not ordered. He said we would be called to bring the car in once the parts were ordered, still no call. This is not the kind of service we have enjoyed from Halfway Ford Kuilsrivier in the past. Updated - 28 July 2023 Ford called me on Monday the 24th, they apologised and said the parts were not ordered, they have now been ordered and I can come in on Thursday. I said we could come in on Friday only so it was booked. Hubby took the car today and they only fixed 1 thing, the other part was not ordered. Worst service received. They charge you thousands and thousands of Rands to fix your car and give it back broken and when you bring it back to them they want to charge you more money even though they ordered the wrong parts and did not troubleshoot properly.

Took my Ford Ranger for his 45 000km service, very unhappy with poor workmanship!!! The technician spilled diesel all over the engine, you can't stand the diesel smell inside this vehicle and it is actually still new!! They changed the fuel filter and from there the diesel spill, I could have rather took the vehicle to a field mechanic who would have done a better job, your technicians have no proud in their work!! Very unhappy there are no quality control they took it for a wash and the guys who washed it opened all the compartments for cash etc. Luckily I removed all valuables , but still they spread all my personal belongings like a hat etc. inside the vehicle, and leaved it like that. I will never recommend them as this happened now for the second time!!!! I feel like taking the vehicle back so that they can properly clean the engine with the diesel spill, very poor service!!!

I had an issue regarding a vehicle I bought from Heyhalfway Goodwood and I logged the complaint with Riaan, Nicolene and Clinton who assisted me with sorting it out. Although I did not get the best service from Goodwood and I am unhappy about it, these three went out of their way to assist me. Honorable after sales service which makes me not to worry to continue buying from this establishment in the future. With a capable team like this I can recommend them with confidence.
